AREA OF PRODUCTION: vineyards located in the hilly areas of the Sinello
valley;
SOIL – ALTITUDE: medium-textured, mixed-clay soils. Altitude of 100-250 m above sea level;
HARVEST: first decade of October;
VINIFICATION: grapes harvested from typical Abruzzo arbors are immediately crushed and destemmed. After alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature, it undergoes malolactic fermentation and decanting;
AGING: in stainless steel tanks and in barriques;
ALCOHOL GRADATION: 13.50% vol;
COLOR: deep red, with violet reflections and garnet notes;
BOUQUET: hints of cherry and red fruits that combine with a balanced vanilla bouquet from the wood;
TASTE: notes of cherry, red fruits, licorice and spices. Full-bodied and persistent, with an important tannic profile;
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18-20 °C;
GASTRONOMIC ACCOMPANYMENTS: roasted red meats, game and aged cheeses.

The Montepulciano D’Abruzzo DOC Gran Riserva from the Michelangelo Line offers a rather broad bouquet, with nuances of ripe fruit, cocoa, dark flowers and black cherry. The taste reveals a red wine of great structure, with accentuated tannins they combine ripe, clean and warm organoleptic qualities with a finish of great sensory balance. This harmonious wine, with an unmistakable, warm and enveloping taste, it lends itself perfectly to combinations with rich and structured dishes, red meats or braised meats and savory aged cheeses.
