VARIETY AND GRAPE VARIETIES: white grapes;
PRODUCTION AREA: vineyards located in the hilly areas between the mouths of the Sangro and Sinello Rivers;
SOIL – ALTITUDE: cool, gravelly, medium-textured soils that tend to be sandy with an altitude of 100-150 meters above sea level;
VITICULTURE: Abruzzi marquee with a density of 2000 plants per ha and grape production of 160 q.li/ha;
HARVEST: by hand, in the second and third decade of September;
VINIFICATION: soft crushing and pressing of the grapes, “debourbage” of the must at 10-12 °C, addition of selected yeasts and fermentation of the clear must at 18 °C in steel tanks;
AGING – STORAGE: 3 months in steel tanks;
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 12.5% vol;
COLOR: pale straw yellow, brilliant with slight greenish reflections;
BOUQUET: delicate, fresh and fruity.
TASTE: dry, soft, medium-bodied and persistent;
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 8 – 10 °C;
GASTRONOMIC ACCOMPANYMENTS: seafood appetizers, fish dishes in general and fresh cheeses. Also excellent as an aperitif.
